Seth Davis Left With Head Injuries After Falling Out Of Tour Bus

Thirty-four year old Seth Davis, from Winchendon, suffered serious head injuries after falling out the bathroom window of a brewery tour bus, which was managed by Colonial Tours of Boston and returning to the Bay State from New Hampshire. According to the Boston Herald, Davis' family said he didn't even remember he had tumbled out of the bus and landed along Route 2.

"He doesn't remember anything until he arrived at the hospital," stated Davis' mother, Martha Pickard. She noted that all the passengers had come back from a 12-hour pub crawl in Portsmouth, which her son joined with his wife and friends.

According to Massachusetts state police, 31-year-old Gardner local Thomas Johnson had also fallen out of the tour bus' window but was already dead when authorities arrived at the scene. A state trooper found both men laying on the road before the bus driver, who may have been unaware that the victims had fallen out in the first place, informed state police about the missing passengers.

"They didn't realize they were gone until about five miles down the road," said Pickard.

Davis' mother said she believes the two victims tumbled out of an oversized window located at the back of the tour bus and contends the accident was a result of faulty equipment, based on the accounts of other passengers. Police officials were unable to verify the legitimacy of these claims, although they believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the accident.

The bus company, however, has yet provided any commentary on the unusual incident.
